Strawberry and Milk Agar

Ingredients

'- 5 to 6 strawberriesTransparent agar- 750 ml water- 100 gram sugar- 1 packet of agar-agar powder (I use Swallow Globe brand 7 gram packet plain agar-agar powder)Milk agar- 750 ml fresh milk (any kind, cow, soy, almond, e.t.c.)- 100 gram sugar- 2 packet of agar-agar powder (I use Swallow Globe brand 7 gram packet plain agar-agar powder)Tools- mold(s) of your choice, I use one 20 cm x 20 cm x 5 cm baking pan

Directions

Strawberries1. Hulled, washed, and drained strawberries. Thinly sliced so each slice looks like a heart. Set aside. ♥Transparent agar1. Combine water and 1 packet of agar-agar powder in a pot and bring to a boil.2. Add sugar and cook until sugar has completely dissolved.3. Pour into mold(s) of your choice, you should only fill about half of each mold.4. Wait 2 minutes, then scatter strawberry slices on top of the transparent agar. Chill in the fridge.Milk agar1. While the transparent agar is in the fridge, proceed with making the milk agar.2. Combine milk and 2 packet of agar-agar powder in a pot and bring to a boil.3. Add sugar and cook until sugar has completely dissolved.4. Take out the transparent agar, it should be almost set, though still jiggly.5. Gently pour the milk agar on top of the transparent agar. Once it sets, chill in the fridge for 2 hours. Serve chilled.
